Judge Painter spoke to Scribes – The American Society of Legal Writers – for its legal writing program last Friday at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago. The program was well attended by students from The John Marshall Law School, adjunct professors from local law schools in Chicago, and law clerks from the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
